Abstract
Great news of course that the UK is joining Horizon Europe. This is a collaborative EU research and innovation funding programme with a budget of some € 95.5 b to 2027. This succeeded the € 80 b Horizon 2020 programme which ran through 2014-2020 and which the UK was entitled to take part in and had disproportionately benefited from until we left the EU formally in January 2020.
