This is a practice-as-research collaboration between Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia, and Birmingham Conservatoire, UK, comprising academic musicians from both institutions. The project produced a 2-channel stereo Original Master of La Historia de Nosotros, a significant work for 8-channel tape with percussion soloist, for release on the Sello Disquero Uniandes record label. The project fused research in both record production and electroacoustic composition to frame the translation from the concert hall scenario of 8-channel acousmatic-led diffusion to the 2-channel stereophonic personal environment utilising studio processes.
