Abstract
The government has recently started consulting on bringing forward the ban on petrol and diesel cars from 2040 to 2035. Or perhaps even 2032.Plug-in Hybrids (PHEVs) are likely to be captured by the ban, but whether it is all PHEVs or just some isn’t really clear at this point given how the government has flipflopped over PHEVs in recent years.
