Abstract

Criminal Law governs us all - and ignorance of the law is no defence. It is therefore important that we all understand our rights, obligations and the processes associated with them, be that after defending ourselves when struck down or finding ourselves a victim of fraud. This book will guide the reader through the fundamentals of Criminal Law, as well as touching on some specialist and developing areas. It will allow the reader to not only understand criminal law, but also appreciate, through caselaw and academic commentary, the context of how the criminal law operates in a modern society.
