Abstract
In the context of ongoing examples of corporate wrongdoing, unethical behavior, and scandals, this chapter explores the causes and consequences of unethical leadership. The exploration focuses on the growing interest in ‘bad’ leadership, with a particular focus on the role of narcissism. The chapter concludes with suggestions that may prevent the emergence of narcissistic leaders and mitigate their impact on the organization.
