Abstract

This chapter is the result of an on-going conversation and reflections between the authors. Using an auto-ethnographic approach we captured, in a series of semi-structured interviews between each other, over a period of two months the insights from this approach.

We have discovered something we have in common, through writing this chapter: we both started out in academia as researchers (following careers outside of the sector) and neither of us planned to become educators. Both of us teach in the areas of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Marketing within British business schools.
